We are seeking a Retail Commercial Real Estate Specialist. This is a full-time salaried position that works in office at our headquarters located in Troy, MI.

Duties/Responsibilities: Gathers, provides, and explains details of current market conditions, pricing, legal requirements, and similar information Produces relevant market data and research, and sources potential new leads Assisting, drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal contracts, including leases and SNDAs Learning company's expectations in retail site selection Schedules and conducts site tours Structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial lease agreements, amendments, subleases, assignments and LOIs Required Skills/Abilities: Minimum of ten years' experience in commercial real estate with an emphasis on mid to big box retail locations Proven track record of closing deals for at least ten mid to big box retail locations annually Substantial contacts in the commercial retail industry Proven ability to negotiate commercial retail leases Familiarity with the states and markets on the company's target list Knowledge of relevant real estate, brokerage, ethical, and other rules Thorough understanding of the commercial real estate market and the laws, regulations, and best practices involved in commercial real estate transactions Understanding of retail construction Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Candidate should be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and ambitious Ability to travel 80% of the time Education and Experience: Valid real estate license (required) Juris Doctor (JD) degree is a plus Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision coverage Prescription plan Life, STD, LTD insurance Vacation and Personal days 401(k) savings plan Merchandise discount.
