Job Summary
- The LPN is accountable for coordinating the overall nursing activities on a day-to-day basis, tours, assessment of potential residents.
- Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place to meet safety/regulatory bodies for assisted living.
- Supports Avera Sacred Heart Health Services' goal of excellence in patient care in a Christian, caring environment by facilitating positive employee relations and supporting departmental goals.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the health service's Catholic and Benedictine heritage, and its values of hospitality, respect for others, stewardship, dignity of work, stability and justice.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience required. 1-2 years' experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Current LPN licensure in the state of SD or multi-state privilege to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside required.
- BLS certification required.
Work Schedule
- 10am-6:30pm, every other weekend/holiday; 80 hours every 2 weeks

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
